WaterSHED
Skyline have recently completed refurbishment works to an outdated sports hall at Wardle Academy, Rochdale. The project involved intense collaboration and teamwork, and the project was completed to a quality finish.
A visionary client brief with a creative response within a tight budget, designed by a talented group of architects, graduates and apprentices. A strong collaboration involving school pupils, designers, makers and construction professionals with a strong focus on sustainability.

The works comprised of the construction of a new classroom and teaching space within the existing Sports Hall together with a new entrance and ancillary accommodation. The works include the demolition of a store which lies adjacent to the Sports Hall. The minor strip out and alterations include removing sections of external elevations to form a new entrance, rooflights and windows, removing internal partition walls and stripping of services, fittings and finishes generally.
